The inaugural Black Cat Ultra has been set for Saturday 28th March 2020.
The Black Cat Ultra is an epic mountain endurance adventure through the Watagan National Park and Awaba State Forest in the Hunter Valley NSW.
Mother Nature provides 2400 meters of ascent in the 60km event and 800 meters of ascent in the 25km event, testing the most seasoned ultra-runners with a combination of technical single-track and fire trails.

The start / finish line is located at Mount Sugarloaf Lookout Picnic Area at Mount Sugarloaf Road and Sugarloaf Range Road, West Wallsend NSW 2286

60km - $140 per runner
25km - $90 per runner.
All participants must be over 18 years of age and agree to the waiver during registration.
Our course requires ultimate individual preparation. Remember you have committed to an extreme mountain endurance event, our aid station volunteers are experienced and will do their best to help each runner, however responsibility falls on participants and it is imperative each runner is adequately prepared for this challenging quest.
Unfortunately, there are no refunds available. In the event a registered runner is unable to attend on race day entry can be transferred to the following year.
A registered runner is able to transfer between race distances and must contact our Race Director for further details no later than 1st March 2020.
